She is survived by: her children, Patricia "Trish" Hill (Ray) of Murfreesboro, TN, Pam Mahaffey of Woodbury, TN and Fred Merritt (Brandy) of Manchester, TN; and her stepchildren, Brenda Merritt of Murfreesboro, TN and Jack Merritt of Michigan. She is also survived by four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Mrs. Merritt.
