The passing of Myrtle Thompson of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 23, 2024 at the age of 93. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her daughter Muriel Jacqueline Skaggs; her husband Charles Marion Thompson; and her siblings, Salura Ruth Maxwel (Cobran), Thelma Elizabeth Byrd, Patricia Valentine, George Thomas Raines, Alfred Dalton "Dump" Byrd Raines (Theresa) and Jack Raines (Lois).

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Misty Thompson, Phillip "Justin" Skaggs and Courtney "Dru" Skaggs; her great grandchildren, Britney Forbes (Robert), Briana Wheeler, Braxton Wheeler (Addi), Makayla Skaggs, Jayden Skaggs, Zen Skaggs and Robert "Malachi" Forbes; and her siblings, Jacqueline "Lena" Cagle (Bobby), Harry Raines (Patricia) and Caroline McCullough. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Adoration Hospice or the United Rescue Mission in memory of Jean Thompson.
