She was predeceased by: her parents, James Forrest Rowland and Ruth Elizabeth Pope Rowland; her husband Daniel Earl "Dan" Stephens; and her son Michael Stephens. She is also survived by two brothers and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Republican Grove Cemetery (3113 Lascassas Pike, Murfreesboro, TN 37130).
