He was predeceased by: his parents, Norwood Butner and Ila Mae Butner; and his sister Rebecca Angel. He is survived by: his wife Patty Butner; his daughters, Jennifer Matzek, Andrea Butner and Stephanie Charles; his sons-in-law, Jesse Charles and Matt Wilson; and his grandson Kenneth James "KJ" Charles.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park (660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
