He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Willard Floyd and Eliza Elizabeth Floyd; and his brothers, Kenneth Floyd, Keith Floyd, Terry Floyd, Jerry Floyd and Lonnie Floyd.

He is survived by: his children, Stacey Siegrist (Elijah), Stephanie Saltsman (Lee) and Josh Floyd (Thomas); his close friend Heather Stafford of Lebanon, Tennessee.; his grandchildren, Zack Floyd, Tyler Shelton, Kiara Taylor-Linhares (Bryan), Makayla Shelton and Austin Kuohn; and his siblings, Patricia Merrick, Peggie Floyd, Arnold Floyd (Rita), Thomas E. Floyd, Bo Floyd (Sheila), Darlene Floyd, Doris Posey (Randy), Debbie Howard (Randall), Judy Thapa and Melinda Kay Wilemon (William). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
