He was predeceased by: his father James R. Ownby; his son Michael Ownby; and his sister Mary Scalf. He is survived by: his mother Katherine Hurst Ownby; his wife Robin Ownby; his son Eric Ownby; his grandson Dillon Ownby; his siblings, Jerry Ownby (Grace), Pam Ownby and Darlene Ownby; and his sisters-in-law, Connie Sterkowicz and Karen Blalock. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Woodfin Chapel (203 N Lowry St, Smyrna, TN 37167). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
