As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though John may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh C. Todd and Rosalie Todd; his wife Marilee Ditmer Todd; his son Stephen Todd; and his sisters, Bea Pritchard and Jean Jenkins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Shepherd (Craig) and Elaine Hunt (Rick). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven grandchildren in love; fifteen great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Woodfin Funeral Chapel - Murfreesboro (1488 Lascassas Pike, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Bradley's Creek Cemetery (8505 Bradley Creek Rd, Lascassas, TN 37085).
