With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jimmie Catherine Grissom in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, born in McMinnville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2024 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Poper Roberts and Ruth Moffitt Roberts; her husband Walter Allen Grissom; and her siblings, Sara Grissom, Martha McCormick and William Roberts.
She is survived by: her son Walt; her daughter-in-law Christine Grissom; her sister Marjorie Clark; her brother-in-law John Grissom; her grandchildren, Matt Grissom (Mandy), Jason Grissom (Katie) and Jenny Reeves (Dalton); and her great grandchildren, Aubrey Grissom, Andrew Grissom and Josie Grissom.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel (117 Underwood Rd, McMinnville, TN 37110). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
