She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Cornell and Vera Cornell; her husband Gerald Hatfill; and her brother Gene Cornell. She is survived by: her children, Scott Hatfill and Lori Ulinger; and her grandchildren, Evan Hatfill (Alyssa), Lennox Rollins (Douglas), Ana Hatfill, Jordan Ulinger and Jessica Ulinger.
