With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Marie Barnes of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 2, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Allen and Ethyl McAfee Allen; her spouse Sidney Irving Barnes; and her siblings, Theodora Harmon, Vernon Allen and Kenneth Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Barnes of Franklin, TN and Pam Edwards of Murfreesboro; her sister Shirley McCartney (Mac) of Franklin; and her close friends, Ronnie, Debbie, Phoenix Rigsby and Pat Crick. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
