She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Phipps and Maydene Phipps; her brother Alfred Harvey Phipps; her husband Mel Jacobs; and her son Steve Jacobs.
She is survived by: her sisters, Carole Claus (Ted) and Loretta Payne; her children, Randy Jacobs (Tonya) and Brenda Williams (Steven); her daughter-in-law Rachel Jacobs; her grandchildren, Tyler Williams (Jen), Daniel Jacobs (Jessica), Bethany Lightfoot (Mitch), Fiona Fuller (Nate), Eily Jacobs and Finn Jacobs; and her great grandchildren, Liam, Emmett Williams and Gwyn Lightfoot. She is also survived by in-laws and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Crossway Baptist Church (4194 Shelbyville Hwy, Murfreesboro, TN 37127). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
