We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2025, at the age of 68, Elmina C. Coleman (Murfreesboro, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Elmina shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Elmina farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Samyia Johnson of Detroit, Michigan., Mickeyshia Rogan of Detroit, Michigan., Markist Rogan of Detroit, Michigan., Anthony Newman Jr. of Detroit, Michigan., Niceau Coleman of Murfreesboro, Tennessee., Demarion Coleman of Murfreesboro, Tennessee., Terence Hodges Jr. of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. and Kaliyah Hodges of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.; her goddaughter Zena McDaniel; and also, Mykel Booth and Makhi Bailey. She was also cherished by her loving daughters and her grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hellum Funeral Chapel (611 S Highland Ave, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the South Church of Christ (4331 Shelbyville Hwy, Murfreesboro, TN 37127). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
