With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Douglas Reid Walters IV of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 31, 2024 at the age of 17. He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Judie Williams Abbott and Douglas R. Walters Sr.; his grandparents, Pamela Bolds and John Bennington; and his uncle Justin Bennington.
He is survived by: his daughter Oakley Jade Walters (Miracle Escue); his parents, Douglas Reid Walters 3rd and Jackalyn Shazell Walters of Murfreesboro, TN.; his siblings, Dylan Micheal Parent, Jemma Marie Parent and Austin Douglas Walters; his grandparents, Douglas Reid Walters Jr. and Ronda Lee Walters; his aunt Tosha Bonds; his uncle Cody Walters; and his great-grandparents, Ronnie Lee Johnson and Mary Helena Johnson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Church of God (2011 St James St, Murfreesboro, TN 37128). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
