He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Leander Sommardahl and Charlotte Barksdale Sommardahl. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Arnette Sommardahl; his children, Byron Sommardahl (Pamela), Wendy Phillips and Mary West (Chris); his grandchildren, Jamie Lyon (Dale), Bailey West (Kallie), Tucker Phillips, Lainey West, Meredith Phillips, Emanuel Sommardahl, Nathan Sommardahl and Annie Sommardahl; and his great grandchildren, Elouise Lyon and Wylder West.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Woodfin Memorial Chapel (1488 Lascassas Pike, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
