She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Roden and Etta Mae Miller Roden; her children, Desiree Dennis and Joshua Dennis; and her siblings, Bobby Roden, Gary Roden, Shirley Givens, Diane Taylor, Judy Atnip and Sheila Roden.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Dennis; her son Caleb Dennis; her grandchildren, Haley Dennis and Brehanna Dennis; and her close friends, Nelda Pitts and Theresa Long. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
Due to her extended illness the family requests donations to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
