He is survived by: his spouses, Nelda Jean Bell and Anne Hodges; his sister Elise Vaughan Montgomery; his parents, Charles Wiley Montgomery Sr. and Mary Minta Montgomery; his sisters, Susan Hoffman and Marion Hoffman; his brother-in-law Russell Montgomery; his brother Gloria Montgomery; and his siblings-in-law, Roy Hodges, Mona Brown and Carolyn Bell. He is also survived by Sister-in-law Charles is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his honor to his church or to Avalon Hospice.
