He was predeceased by: his brother John Rice. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Trevaughn Shepherd, William Shepherd, Nevaeh Shepherd, Aniyah Shepherd, Jakob Shiver, Kaitlynn Shiver, Gabriel Vaughn, Blakley Wesley and Guinevere Wesley; and his brother Steve Rice (Pam).
