It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Sue Bowman of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl L. Kelsey and Florence Kelsey (Welch); her husband Larry Joseph Bowman, Sr.; her sons, Chad Bowman (Robin) and Larry Joseph; and her great grandchild Nathaniel Cole Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughter Jelaine Nodine (Scott); her grandchildren, Kate Eaves (Casey), Olivia Johnson (Michael), Collier Nodine (Olivia), Anthony Wilkerson (Lacy), Morgan Eady (Dylan), Breanna Felps (Mason), Jay Ramsey (Lindsey) and Jacob Ramsey; her great grandchildren, Luke and Oliver Eaves; her grandchildren, Westin, Chloe Johnson, Hudson Wilkerson, Reagan, Ellie, Peyton, MJ Eady, Tucker, Millie Felps and Jase Ramsey; and her siblings, Virginia Kelsey, Rosie Hall, Gary Kelsey (Diane) and Cheryl Terry (Roger). She is also survived by her family, baking with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Woodfin Chapel (203 N Lowry St, Smyrna, TN 37167). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at the Mapleview Cemetery (411 Maple St, Smyrna, TN 37167).
