In the vast expanse of eternity, John Benjamin shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John Benjamin farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Mitchell Sr. and Twylia Simpson; and his siblings, Pam Ebey, Judy Perrault and David Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Mitchell; his sons, Denney Mitchell and John B. Mitchell III; and his sister Alice Wiley. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
