He was predeceased by: his parents, JC McCoy and Ernestine McCoy; his wife Stella Louise McCoy; and his brothers, Dale McCoy, Jerry McCoy and Dennis McCoy.
He is survived by: his children, Stella Danice Crowe of Munford, TN, Jimmie Lee Laxton (Mark) of Covington, TN, Peggy Jo McCoy of Munford, TN and William Clay McCoy (Anita) of Murray, KY; his siblings, Vickie McCoy, Marvin McCoy, Ronnie McCoy and Bobby McCoy; and his pet Ollie. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren.
