She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Dewey Hanks (Dude) and Mamie Ree Glidewell Hanks; her son Larry H. Scott; and her siblings, Bub Hanks, Robbie Birckett and Marie Asbury.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Rose Poteat of Charlotte, NC; her son Arthur Scott Jr. (Nancy) of New Braunfels, TX; her daughter-in-law Vivian Scott of Hoschton, GA; her children, Mark Scott (Brenda) of Munford, TN and Ann Watson (Ronnie) of Millington, TN; and her grandchildren, Jeanell Willis, Clay Scott, Laura Cuddeback, Barrett Scott, Rachel Barton, Stephen Scott, Eleanor Scott, Sam Watson, Mary Kate Uhe, Ethan Watson, Rebekah Millican, Janet Evans, Jim Lubbers, Bob Lubbers and Johnny Lubbers. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
