We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2020, at the age of 74, Jay Lloyd Whalen of Munford, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Porter Whalen and Mary Ellen Porter Whalen; and his daughter Chantile Sistrunk. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Thomasson Whalen; and his children, Melissa Whalen Pritchard (Cody) of Union City, TN and Jason Whalen (Tina) of San Diego, CA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Lung Association.
