He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd McMurtrey and Corinne McMurtrey. He is survived by: his wife Dale McMurtrey; his children, Connie Sharp (Monte) and Jim McMurtrey (Amy); his sister Jane Carol Wigham; his grandchildren, Alyssa Ethridge, Ashley Zeigler and Erica Craig; and his great grandchildren, Easton Craig, Paisley Craig, Judah Zeigler, John Ellis Zeigler, Blaise Price and James Ethridge.
