He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Ferrell; his parents, Homer, Sr. Ferrell and Mary Ferrell; his daughters, Sheila Monasco and Brenda Harrison; and his siblings, Willie Brewer, Milton Ferrell, William Ferrell, Sharon Wright and Clarice Sides.
He is survived by: his sons, Roger Ferrell (Rhonda) and Bobby Ferrell (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Roger "Boogie" Ferrell, Jr. (Crystal), Rachel Ferrell (William Millican), Chris Ferrell (Shelbie), Blake Ferrell, Ashley Ferrell, Tamara Lott, Brandon Harrison (Britney) and Britney Stanley. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
