She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman McFerson and Marie McFerson; her son Shane Lynn Timbs; and her siblings, Herman Aladdin McFerson, Joyce McFerson and Sandra Williams.
She is survived by: her husband Wendell Edwards; her children, Daphne Star Trotter (Phil) and Gary Allen Douthitt (Cindy); her siblings, Edwina Hamblin, Linda Hile, Tina Embry, Debbie Embry and Larry McFerson; and her grandchildren, Tyler Douthitt, Kayla Goodson, Daphne Nicole Draffin, Brandon Daugherty, Michael Trotter, Landon Edwards and Camryn Edwards. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
