He was predeceased by: his parents, I. W. Lovejoy and Doris Lovejoy; and his son-in-law Christopher Hill. He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen Marie Lovejoy Rendall, Sue Hill and Rebecca Edrington; his grandchildren, Abby Hill, CJ Hill, Chelsee Heath, Lauren Rendall and Blake Rendall; his great grandchildren, Izzy, Troy and Leo; and his sisters, Paula Gaydos (Joe) and Sandy Armstrong.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to The American Cancer Society.
