She was predeceased by: her parent Robert Harrison Morefield; her husband Robert "Earl" Courtner; her son Stephen Robert Courtner; and her sisters, Kathryn Morefield, Berniece Wilkinson and Lucille Nelson.
She is survived by: her parent Edna Tyson Osborne Morefield; her daughter Carolyn C. Wood of Knoxville; her daughter-in-law Carol Courtner; and her siblings, Thelma Mains, Jeannie Arnold, Mae Allen and Kenny Morefield. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
