She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Owens and Ella Mae Morefield Owens; and her husband Kenneth W. 'Jack' Courtner. She is survived by: her children, Marie Gates (Mike), James Courtner (Angel), Donald Courtner (Stephanie), Tommy Courtner (Amanda) and Kenneth Courtner Jr.; her siblings, Judy Dunn, Linda Hayworth, Ronnie Owens, Jim Owens and Donnie Owens; and her close friends, Dorothy Canter and Denise.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S. Church Street, Mountain City, TN.
