It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Koontz Herman of Mountain City, Tennessee, who passed away on July 14, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Koontz and Betty Greene Koontz; her sister Sharon Gragg; her sister-in-law Linda Miller; and her parents-in-law, John and Mildred Herman.
She is survived by: her husband Martin Herman of Mountain City, TN; her children, Melissa Greene (Wayne) of Zionville, NC and Jason Herman (Heather Herman) of Zionville, NC; her sister Jane Howell (Kenny) of Fleetwood, NC; and her grandchildren, Sydney Herman, Palin Greene, Saylor Herman, Paisley Greene, Porter Herman and Liam Greene. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
