Stella Payne Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stella Payne (Mountain City, Tennessee), born in Shady Valley, Tennessee, who passed away on October 27, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Alexander and Dora Stansberry Tolliver of Virginia; her husband Earl Payne; and her siblings, Hazel Wright, Calvin Tolliver, Glenn Tolliver, Fred Tolliver, Ruth Lovell, Sylvia Miller, Raymond Tolliver and Earl Tolliver.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Lorella Tolliver of Shady Valley, TN and Joanne Tolliver of Bristol, TN; her close friends, Callie Dunn, Vicki Snyder and Stella; and also, Jim Taylor (Joan) and John Taylor (Sharon). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, it was Stella's request that memorial gifts be made to Johnson County Senior Center, 128 College Street, Mountain City, TN 37683 or to the charity of your choice.
