It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Tony Wilson (Mountain City, Tennessee), who passed away on September 20, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Wilson and May Wilson; his brothers, Tommy Wilson and George Wilson; and his nephew Ron Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Wilson; his son Lanny Wilson; his sister Louise Wilson; and his stepchildren, Scott Church (Brenda), Travis Church (April) and Tammy Helm (Brian). He is also survived by four grandsons, one great grand-daughter, and many step grand nieces and nephews.
Due to the concern and restrictions of COVID-19, there will be a private family graveside service held at 2:00 p. m. on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Hampton Family Cemetery in Boone, NC with Pastor Travis Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Vilas Valley Baptist Church at 1067 Charlie Thompson Road, Vilas, NC 28692.
