He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Paul Dunn and Radell McCoy Dunn; his wife Kathy Sue Forrester Dunn; his sons, Frankie Edward Dunn and Joseph "Joe" Dunn; and his siblings, Shirley Sheets, Peggy Barton, Patsy Forrester, Evelyn Sewell, Danny Dunn, Hobert Dunn and Gino Dunn.
He is survived by: his daughter Katherine Renee Proffitt (Jack); his grandchildren, Aron Freeman (Danielle), Ashtin Rhymer (Anthony), Lexie Proffitt and Amber Walls (Josh); his great grandchildren, A. J. Freeman, Easton Freeman, Kasen Rhymer, Nathaniel and Kyla; and his brother-in-law Rodney Sewell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
