He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Stanley Garland and Rose Duncan Garland; his wife Romeda Garland; his brother Warren Garland; his son-in-law Dave Burrell; and his granddaughter Patricia Burrell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Price (Jerold) and Ann Proffitt (Greg); and his grandchildren, Amanda Potter (Dwayne), Carrie Reece (Billy), Nichole Proffitt, Kayla Crowder Cress, Madison, Caleb, Mason, Liam, Makenna, Lakin and Aubriella Rose (Louella Dunn).
