We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2024, at the age of 83, Norman Ray Gentry (Mountain City, Tennessee), born in Shady Valley, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Norman Ray may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Gentry and Versie Long Gentry; and his sisters, Darlene Barry Church, Shirley McCroskey and Shelby Myers.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Wyatt Gentry; his son Larry Gentry (Nikki); and his siblings, Barbara Gregory (Danny Ray) and William Dean Gentry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
