He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Roberts and Mamie Simmons Roberts; and his brother Hugh Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Alice P. Roberts; his sons, Josh Roberts of Athens, GA, Joel Roberts of Johnson City, TN and Joseph Roberts of Johnson City, TN; and his grandchildren, Nathan, Adelaide and Asher.
