He was predeceased by: his parents, Abner Ben and Addie Miller Hughes; his wife Frances Fleenor Hughes; his son Barry Glenn Hughes; and his siblings, Nina Hughes Byington, John, Jess, Reece and Otis Hughes.
He is survived by: his son Gregory G. Hughes (Donna); and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Caitlin, Dylan and Sarah Hughes.
