Josephine Caraway Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Josephine Caraway (Mountain City, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 20, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Josephine's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Josephine has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas A. "Gus" Howard and Ruth Shipe Howard; and her brothers, Tom Howard and Charles Howard. She is survived by: her sons, Brian Caraway (Renee) of Maryville, TN and Wendell Caraway of Mountain City; her grandchildren, Joshua of Lynchburg, VA and Kelsey of Lebanon, TN; and her siblings-in-law, Aleta White Howard of Huntsville, AL and James Caraway (Karinsue). She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
