He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas William Neatherly and Perdie Jessie Williams Neatherly; his wife Reba Forrester Neatherly; and his siblings, Harold Neatherly, Bobby Ray Neatherly and Betty Garland.
He is survived by: his daughter Lavonda Thomas of Trade, TN; his stepson Clint Dunn of Mountain City, TN; his siblings, Marie Jennings of Mountain City, TN, Martha Neatherly of Boone, NC, Kathy Clawson of Boone, NC, Tommy Neatherly of Mountain City, TN and George Neatherly of Downington, PA; his granddaughter Ericka Thomas; his great grandchild Riley Arnold; and his close friends, Vicky Roark, Avondale and Kevin Drummond of Mountain City, TN.
