He was predeceased by: his parents, Beaul Mark Lewis and Dorna Lee Osborne Lewis; his sister Evelyn; his brother-in-law Baxter Woodard; his brother Harold Dean Lewis; and his half-brother Otis Lewis.

He is survived by: his sister Betty Osborne (Jack); and his half-sister Mary Lee Mullaney. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
