He was predeceased by: his parents, Israel Jacob Cody and Ruth Mae Wroten Cody; and his sister Ann Cody James. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Quante Cody; his children, Katheryna Daniel (Donavan), Angelique Morales (Brandon), Tatiana Cody (Antoinette), Diane Roxann (George), Patrice Cody (LaRick), Justin Cody (Samantha), Ceryna Cody (Autumn), Rene Cody Wyatt and Chase Simpson (Nikki); and his siblings, Jacqueline Gray Shellmier (Tierney), Sharon Blum and Charles Cody. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
