He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dewey Hicks and Sally Faye Eastridge; and his siblings, Hazel Fritts, Rosey Allie and Gene McKinnis.
He is survived by: his children, Dreama Hicks, Tammy Hicks, Sirena Hicks (Eddie), Robin Hicks and Wayne Hicks; his grandchildren, Shane Mabe, Uvette Kimberlin, Cody Pierce and Noah Carrol; his great grandchildren, Skylar and Makaylea; his brother Roger Fritts; and his close friends, Betty and Johnny Dugger. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
