She is survived by: her daughter Gaylia Leigh Whetsel; her grandson Eric Lee Whetsel of Johnson City; her sister Mary Earle Elliott of Gate City, VA; and her nieces and nephews, Dinah Jeffries, Anna Catherine Graunke, JoAnn Elliott, Paul Shoun Jr., Wilson Elliott and Marshall Elliott.
