He was predeceased by: his parent Dessie Gentry; his siblings, Jimmy Gentry and Christine Fletcher; and his niece Sharon Sala. He is survived by: his children, Connie Gentry of Johnson City and Brian Gentry of Johnson City; and his siblings, Joy Wolfe, Georgia Bell Isaacs, Frankie Gentry (Rosa) of Butler and Charlie Gentry of Mountain City. He is also survived by five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
