He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Scott and Buna Davis Scott; and his siblings, Delmar, Elmer Scott, Thelma Farmer, Hazel Hodge and Helen May.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Marsh Scott; his sons, Earl Scott Jr. of Mountain City, TN and Paul Scott (Shana) of Zionville, NC.; his grandchildren, Marquita Nicole Scott of Kingsport, TN, Mackensie, Shayne, Elijah, Autumn, Kenleigh and Levi Scott of Zionville, NC.; his great grandchild Paxton of Kingsport, TN.; and his brother Edward Scott (Dorthy) of Vilas, NC.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family respectively request those attending services to wear a mask and honor social distancing.
