He was predeceased by: his parents, McKinley Clawson and Maude Dellinger Clawson; and his siblings, Molly Whaley, Homer Clawson, Ann Gentry, Beryl Clawson, Bill Clawson, Paul Clawson and Jean Clawson.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Norris (Dale) and Richard Clawson; the mother of his children Betty Clawson; his siblings, Betty Dugger and Roscoe Clawson; his grandchildren, Geneva Watson, Reece Watson and Annah Clawson; and his close friend Tim McCoury. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
