He was predeceased by: his parents, W. K. Henson and Hattie Johnson Henson; his wife Hilda Henson; and his siblings, Mae Neal, Gladys Absher, Hazel Gentry, Elizabeth Richardson, Shirley Fredell, Pat Morefield, Ray Henson of Joe Henson, R. D and Otis Henson.
He is survived by: his sons, Ricky Lee Henson and Rodney Lynn Henson; his grandchildren, Brett Henson (Mandy Lewis) and Ashtyn Henson; and his great grandchildren, Savannah Lewis, Landon Lewis and Evan Lewis. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
