It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Greer (Mountain City, Tennessee), who passed away on August 10, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Greer and Lorne Price Greer; and his siblings, Bill, Carl, Harold, Ralph Greer, Geraldine Greer, Mary Sue Peck and Christine Pleasant.
He is survived by: his children, Cassandra Greer of Mountain City, Tennessee, Davey Greer and Austin Greer of Mountain City, Tennessee; his brother Wayne Greer of Mountain City; and his nephew Conner Greer of Mountain City, Tennessee.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Johnson County is mandating that all citizens who live in or visit Johnson County wear masks in public. In keeping in accordance with this mandate, all visitors to the visitation / funeral service are required to wear a mask/ and or facial covering.
