He is survived by: his wife Joyce Dixon McCoy; his children, Kendra Franklin (Adam), Mindy Morefield and Jesse McCoy (Billie); his siblings, Virginia Clonch (Monroe), Margaret Hunt (John), Lynn Eastridge (Jerry), Ruth Pennington (Joe) and Fred "Bugs" McCoy (Helen); his grandchildren, Zachary Whitehead, Hailey McCoy, Colby Franklin and Ashlynn McCoy; his brothers-in-law, Tony McElyea and Bill McElyea; and his close friends, John Robinson, Tom Icenhour, Jim Hensley, Danny Ray Wilson, John Shull and Charlie Justice. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
