She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Neatherly and Perdie Willen Neatherly; her husband Harold Garland; and her brothers, Bob Neatherly and Harold Neatherly.
She is survived by: her daughter Vicky Reece (Marty) of Zionville, NC; her grandchildren, Shana Scott (Paul) of Zionville, NC, Stephanie Tolbert (Darrin) of Boone, NC and Jeremy Reece; her great grandchildren, Mackensie Scott, Shayne Scott, Elijah Scott, Autumn Scott, Kenleigh Scott, Levi Scott and Briana Tolbert; her siblings, Marie Jennings, Kathy Clawson, Martha Neatherly, George Neatherly (Diane), John Neatherly and Tommy Neatherly; her brother-in-law Norman Garland (Judy); and her close friends, Mary Nell Reece, Bill, Nancy Hughes, Kelsey Buchanan and Hannah Ligon.
