With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barton Brown Sr. of Mountain City, Tennessee, born in Trade, Tennessee, who passed away on November 3, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Brown and Madge Brown; his son Bobby Joe Brown; and his siblings, Sue Greer, Pat Thomas, Jean McMahan, Jerry Brown and Jimmy Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Voida Brown; his children, Sharon Brown (James) of Rising Sun, MD, Laurie Cummins (Steve) of Colora, MD and Barton "Chopper" Brown Jr. of Rising Sun, MD; his sister Nancy Hughes (Bill) of Mountain City, TN; his grandchildren, Kelly Burton, Jason Burton (Etta), Emily Barrow, Stephen Cummins (Erin) and Eric Cummins (Danielle); his aunt Joyce Allen; and his uncle Junior Potter. He is also survived by four great grandsons, seven great granddaughters.
